Crystal B. Designs Seeking NYE Models!

Crystal B Designs is seeking 15 models for our NYE Fashion Presentation. Auditions for the show will be held on Sunday December 12th from 5pm-6pm @ The Life Force Art Gallery 3148 N Lincoln Ave Chicago IL. Models should be 5'8 & up witht Bust 34-36; Waist 26-28; Hips 34-38. Be sure to bring with you a head shot(for us to keep) and a pair 4 inch heel. Spots for this event is limited so please show up to be seen.

Walk Must be FIERCE, NO Exceptions!!!!!! Must Be Available for the Show on New Years Eve;)
This is an unpaid event but the press will be MASSIVE! See you there!

My "Golden Girls"



I'd just like to start off by thanking Aramide Estubi, Dee Desalu and Kiki J, of the "Kiki J Experience," for helping me out with my 3rd Annual Fashion Show. They are a bunch of well rounded, sophisticated Ladies whom are helping out with everything. I can honestly say if it wasn't for them then I would be lost right now. Aramide "DD," will be taking care of styling and helping out with PR, Ms. Dee "Dee Dee" will be styling the models hair and helping out with the numerous of shoot I will be shooting, not to mention the decor of the place, and Ms. KiKi J will be as well helping out with the shoots and make-up.  I love these women and absolutely appreciate what they are doing, and for that they are my "Golden Girls!"

Life Force Art Gallery

I am really excited... After researching and touring numerous of Art Galleries to no avail, I have finally found a Gallery that fits my budget and needs.

I will be able to launch my new collection to an intimate amount of fashion lovers for the 3rd Year in a row now! Wow, does time go by, Whew! I want to thank Life Force Art Gallery for truly making my day and allowing me to host my event at their venue. I feel like I can go on from here. Even after receiving a $50 parking ticket, I still couldn't be any happier. Now that the hard part is out of the way, everything will fall into place.

Halloween Dress??? You be the Judge!

So we were featured on Washingtonian.com as an etsy stylist creating a Halloween look??? I (Crystal B.) was actually made aware of this plug by one of my customers, "I LOVE MY CUSTOMERS," in my high pitch holy voice. I truly loved the article but must say that I didn't quite agree with the placing of my dress. The dress featured was the Roman Sleeved Dress. This dress is a nice summer cocktail dress, and it is made with some expensive fabrics. I just don't see anyone, buying something so nice to party in "just" for Halloween. Even though you are free to purchase this piece for any reason that suites, I definitely feel that this is something that is to be dressed up, worn to a nice social event or out to a nice dinner. Not for Halloween? I'm thinking though... for those of you that are interested in purchasing it for Halloween, this may not be last time you'd wear this piece! ;)
